About Nusantara Project ROM

Install Nusantara Project Android 12

Nusantara Project is an AOSP-based Android custom ROM with a simple, clean, and elegant user interface. Of course this custom ROM is very light compared to stock ROM MIUI because there is no bloatware.

This ROM was developed by a community from Indonesia. Even though it comes from Indonesia, everyone around the world can join to develop this ROM because it is an open-source project.

Preparation Before Installing

Before we go to the installation steps, there are several things you need to prepare, including the installation requirements and the materials you must download.

Installation requirements:

  • Backup Data
  • Already unlocked the Poco X3 Pro bootloader.
  • Already installed a custom recovery like TWRP, OrangeFox, or others.

Materials and equipment needed:

  • Firmware MIUI Global 12.5.7 or later.
  • Nusantara Project 4.1 or later. There are two variants, namely Gapps and Vanilla. The difference is, Gapps includes Google applications such as Play Services, Play Store, and others. Vanilla without Google apps, so we have to install Gapps manually. In this tutorial I will use the Gapps version.
  • Magisk 24 or later (optional). If you don’t want your phone to be rooted, please skip this file.
  • SD card or Flash Drive that supports USB OTG to store all the files.

If you have done the requirements and you have downloaded the materials, it’s time for us to go into the steps on how to install Nusantara Project with Android 12 on Poco X3 Pro.
